Extraordinary Ethiopia

The ancient city of Axum is the heart of Ethiopia's historical past and was once the capital of the Aksumite Empire. Here, you'll find the famous obelisks, the Queen of Sheba's palace ruins, and the Church of St. Mary of Zion, which is said to house the Ark of the Covenant.

Harar, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is considered Islam's fourth holiest city. It is known for its winding alleyways, colorful markets, and over 80 mosques. Harar is also famous for its tradition of feeding hyenas by hand at night.
