Highlights of Chile

Scroll

Chile is a land of rich history and diverse culture, where Hispanic influences blend seamlessly with the traditions of the Quinchua and Mapuche peoples. From the iconic Huasos (Chilean cowboys) riding through the mountain foothills to the striking contrast of Baroque architecture and modern glass buildings in Santiago, Chile offers a fascinating mix of old and new. Its capital is a culinary paradise, brimming with vibrant flavors and fresh ingredients for any budding gastronomist.

But Chile’s true allure lies in its untamed wilderness. The towering peaks and vast glaciers of Torres del Paine, the lush winelands nestled in its valleys, and the otherworldly beauty of the Atacama Desert to the north all offer landscapes that are as diverse as they are breathtaking.

La Casona at The Matetic has ten stylish and spacious rooms which blend comfort and elegance, all featuring en suite bathrooms, and a private terrace overlooking the gardens or vineyard.
