Hemis, Thiksey & Shey Monasteries – 10 February 2026
Today is a journey into Ladakh’s spiritual heart. Begin with Hemis Monastery, the largest and wealthiest in the region, known for its rich traditions and sacred relics. Continue to Thiksey Monastery, perched on a hill with dramatic views of the Indus Valley, and home to an enormous seated statue of Maitreya Buddha.
